Byline Festival celebrates free speech and independent journalism, and we are very lucky that most our speakers and performers donate their time for free. 

But the costs of mounting the festival greatly exceed the income for the first few years. Currently, we are subsidising ticket prices by over 50%

In other words it costs TWICE AS MUCH TO PUT ON THE FESTIVAL AS WE CHARGE.

So do help us survive, thrive and KEEP TICKET PRICES LOW.
