Bat Walk with Bridget Nicholls
Bridget Nicholls was raised on an animal sanctuary and is descended from pirates. She created Pestival, an international festival about ‘the art of being an insect’. Over 200,000 people attended Pestival at the Southbank Centre over two days and it won the Observer Ethical Award for Conservation. For two years until 2013, Bridget was International Art Fellow at London Zoo. A role created especially for her, she based herself in a shepherd’s hut in the Zoo next to the Snowdon Aviary. She is a naturalist, writer and broadcaster.
