In a world where we’re constantly plugged in, it can be hard to figure out what’s real, what matters, and how to actually thrive online. This panel brings together creators, activists, digital natives to unpack what it really means to grow up in the age of algorithms, cancel culture, and endless scrolling. Expect real talk, honest takes, and advice you won’t find in a generic “how to be safe online slideshow.
Eight members from My Life My Say (MLMS) will lead this panel. MLMS is a youth-led, non-partisan charity on a mission to empower young people from underrepresented communities to participate in democracy, by creating spaces for dialogue across communities and equipping socially excluded citizens with tools to lead change within society. MLMS tackles the barriers that prevent marginalised young people from engaging in democratic processes with a theory of change that encompasses three pillars: youth-led engagement, advocacy and leadership.
